Saturday was a day off for the Rangers and they finished the tournament on Sunday with two wins. The game Sunday morning was a back and forth battle against a team from Tosa and the boys were victorious in a close game that finished 7 - 6. The Sunday afternoon game was a goal-fest for the Rangers that ended with a score of 12 - 2 against a team from Tosa.
Each and every player on the U10 boys’ academy team scored a goal on Sunday. To share the goal-scoring amongst all 11 players on the roster is a great accomplishment!! That is truly a team effort!!

U12 Storm
In spite of the rain the Storm had a nice win @ PWS on Saturday. Final score 5 -0. A great way to start the season.
After a month of practicing, and a couple of scrimmages, the U12 Boys Rangers finally got to take the field for a few real matches at the Milwaukee Sport Club Tournament this past weekend. With a less than favorable schedule that had the team playing on Friday night, against the host team no less, the boys started off on the right foot with a shaky first win of the year, 3 to 2 against Sport Club. The boys played familiar foe Whitefish Bay Blue in their second game. In what Coach Holdmann had been calling a “statement” game, the boys played their best game of the tournament, winning 4 to 0. A strong effort by all helped secure maximum points in this game. Jayson Voigt scored what proved to be the game winning goal off of his head, from a corner kick taken by Brian Holdmann. Entering Sunday with two wins, and two games to be played, the boys were in the driver’s seat, and ready for what was to be the bigger tests of the weekend. A 3 to 2 loss to eventual Champion Pewaukee, and a an exhausting loss to Bavarian White concluded the weekend. “Iron Man” defenders Carson Klaus and Quinton Riddle were well recognized, and appreciated by the team. Now on to their first league game on Saturday the 18th against Kettle Moraine United Gold.
U14 Ranger Boys Blue
The Ranger U14 Blue team started the state league season off with a pair of 1-0 victory's at Zaun this weekend. In the first match Noah Semmann scored a fabulous goal on a great individual effort to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead against MK Alliance. The stingy defense did not allow MK to test the goal until late in the game and keeper Jeffrey Frankard came up with a big sliding tackle to end any threat.
In the Sunday game the Rangers came up with a goal that surprised everyone. Joseph Reyes took a shot and it found the back of the net with a good home field bounce. The midfield and defense once again shut down all runs by Yahara. It was a fantastic weekend for the U-14 Rangers Blue team due to great effort by all. GO RANGERS! (H.P.D. Baby)
