U11 Ranger Girls
U11 Girls vs FC Milwaukee Nationals Blue
Saturday 10/1/11
The schedule couldn't have worked out any better to play FC Milwaukee at their turf fields after a week of rain. Perfect soccer weather 58 degrees and sun. FC came out and played some solid soccer and took it to us early with a strike after 6 minutes. From that point on the Rangers settled into a back and fourth battle on the field. Madison Zwicker came across from the right midfielder position and finished a pass from Laura Stockhausen in the 27th minute. Tie 1-1 half. The second half was an entirely different game with our Rangers pinned back on their half for most of the second period. We put together a couple of real good scoring opportunities and strikes on goal but couldn't make it happen. Just into the 28th minute of the second half Hailey Block sent a through ball and splits the Fc defenders, with extra effort Charmaine Dee beats the goalie to the ball and finishes. 2-1 Rangers final. Our Rangers have hit a turning point starting last weekend at the Madison Tournament. We have been pulling through some tough games lately on effort and are playing some really good soccer ! Thanks to the parents for your support and hope you enjoy the great competition! COACH STEVE

U11 Ranger Girls are Champions at Uihlein Coca Cola Tournament, 9/30/11 thru 10/2/11
The U11 Girls also played the Coca Cola tourney this weekend besides their league game with FC.  Due to the rain, we were moved to the indoor fields for the weekend. We started play Friday night with a win against MK TO Red 9-0. Saturday night a win against Arlington Aces White Lightning (ILL) 5-0, and Sunday a win against MK Gsc Black Rush 10-0. This 3 game sweep gave us a position in the championship game Sunday evening against the MK Nsa White. The Rangers dominated from the start and coasted to a 7-2 Victory!  Go Rangers!!

U13 Ranger Girls
The U13 Ranger girls played 2 league games this past weekend. In their first match they played Tosa at Hart Park, which provides a nice experience on a turf field. We came up short and loss 1-0.  On Sunday the girls came back home and defeated KM United soundly by a score of 4-0. Scoring goals for the RANGERS were Maria, Lauren, Payton, and Hailey. The RANGER defense also was very strong and limited their scoring chances.  Keep up the hard work, Rangers!
