U12 Ranger Boys

Congratulations to the U12 Ranger Boys, pictured above, who finished second in the Milwaukee Sport Club Tournament.  The boys played hard all weekend and advanced to the finals after a loss Friday and two wins on Saturday and Sunday.  Although they lost in the finals, 2-0, the boys worked hard and showed great Ranger pride. I would also like to thank the parents for their time and dedication.  ~Coach Parker

Grafton U10 Girls Academy
The U10 Academy Girls kicked off their league season with a 7-0 loss against Mequon on Saturday. Although the girls had a slow first half, they came together to play a more aggressive second half and exhibited much better passing and teamwork out on the field. The girls continue to progress as a team unit and are excited about the rest of the fall season. Keep working hard girls!!

Grafton U-11 Girls Rangers vs Waukesha U11 Gold
9/10/11 1st League Game at Zaun
Your U11 Girls Rangers started their league play and home opener today at Zaun. The first half was an all out defensive battle for the first 24 minutes led by Laura Stockhausen, Karsen Wise, Jaden Autey and Ava Pederson. Then Katelyn Wagner gathered a ball at left midfield on an offensive attack and crossed the ball to our forward Charmaine Dee with the finish. Score 1-0. 4 minutes later Hailey Block cleared a ball ahead and with the help of a mishandle by the opponents keeper top of the box, Charmaine Dee stole the loose ball and finished with number 2. Score 2-0 half. 10 minutes into the second half our center midfielder Hailey Block with a fake left and an outside of foot touch right came free and planted one in the back of the net! 3-0 us and this would end up being the final today! We had a full team effort and we all came out to play 60 solid minutes of great soccer this afternoon. I must say our first half keeper Corbin Woessner and second half keeper Laura Stockhausen had just sensational efforts today as well! WAY TO GO RANGERS Soccer   ~Coach Steve

U13 Ranger Girls
The U 13 girls started the season this past weekend with a good win against Whitefish Bay on Saturday.  The girls came out strong and aggressive and shot 5 goals to secure a win in the league opener.  Scoring for the RANGERS were Amanda Parsons with 2 goals and Maria Olson, Caitlin Kugi, Brianna Schnell each added 1.  On Sunday Racine United came to Zaun and defeated a hard working RANGER team 1-0.  The girls played a nice game and were a bit unfortunate not to come away with a goal or two.  Nice opening weekend RANGERS!!!

U17 Ranger Girls
On Saturday the U17 Rangers traveled to Elm Grove for the League opener. Playing on a firm surface, the Rangers came out quick pounding the Elm Grove defense.  The girls struggled to find the back of the net, but remained patient. It wasn't until the second half that the Rangers capitalized on an opportunity. Zoie Bauer scored the first goal of the day, after receiving a pass from Brianna Martin. 10 Minutes later, a long ball played from Halie Shieffer was trapped by Haley Orlowski, who then laid it off to Bauer, who reordered her second goal of the game. A strong defensive effort was needed by all to blank Elm Grove. The Rangers will be in action this weekend in Fond du Lac at the Wisconsin State Championships.
